ARCHITECTURAL SURVEYING   An architectural survey is a method that takes all land aspects including soil, past and present buildings and roads, and even archaeological data into account when planning a new development. These surveys provide background and history of that specific area in regards to population and activity over many years. By understanding the past events, developers and architects can plan projects accordingly so they may adapt to that area's needs and culture. Architectural surveying is incredibly important to ensure structural integrity depending on earth conditions as well as community and employment involvement depending on the building's purpose.

CONSTRUCTION SURVEYING    Construction surveying establishes and marks the position and details the layout of new structures, such as roads or buildings for subsequent construction. Due to this, surveying may regarded as a sub-discipline of civil engineering.

TITLE SURVEYING                  This a survey that defines property lines on the ground and extent of property ownership. Property corners are typically witnessed by monuments or markers, such as concrete monuments in the ground, iron rods or pipes. As a result, a map is produced, which shows the property boundary lines, structures and other features located on the parcel in relation to these property boundary lines. 

AS BUILT/INTERIOR SURVEYING    Interior surveys are often performed to measure spaces that differ from original building plans or when no plans exist at all. The interior survey will serve as a base map for design and construction professionals constructing complex commercial and residential improvements
